If the sole thing I care about is taste (as a non-drinker), what type of wine should I go after? - The Athan Zafirov Wine Blog
A little background: I'm from a country where alcohol isn't often drunk and thus I've barely had any. My first time drinking was gulping down an entire bottle of vodka and I have no idea how I did it considering it tasted like battery acid and I'd rather crawl over glass than taste that taste again.
Beer is better, but it tastes very medicinal (best way i can describe it) so I turned to what I thought was the tastiest alcohol: wine. I had a bottle of red wine (forgot the brand name) and while it was better, it still tasted medicinal.
But I'm told there's many different types of wines, varying in taste and alcohol content. So if the sole thing I care about, regardless of price or ABV, is taste (the sweeter and least alcohol-tasting, the better), what type of wine should I go after? And any specific brands?
