Loire, Alp, and Mosel trip recommendations

Hello!

Quite new into the hobby, but rapidly falling in love with it. I'm consuming wine content like never before, and trying to do tastings where I can.

My partner and I will be travelling around Europe from the UK by car in late June/early July, primarily to hike in the alps and to visit friends in Paris, Geneva, and Zurich. We'll finish in Austria before heading home via Germany. I have noticed that this route likely takes us through the Eastern Loire, obviously plenty of low and high alpine regions, and the Mosel on the way home.

If I can fit one day in each of these places into the itinerary to try to discover local wines, I'd love some recommendations as to how to spend those days.

I want to ensure I'm respectful of people's time when they are hard at work, and am conscious that I'm relatively new to this so won't know as much as many people who travel to these areas specifically for wine. Can you simply travel from vineyard to vineyard to try their wines (as you can in e.g. New Zealand)? How much would I be expected to buy at each place in order not to take the piss?

Any and all info much appreciated.
