VAT refund for wine purchased in France

We're from the UK and travelling to France next month to buy champagne and wine for our wedding. I know that you can claim back the VAT when taking it back to the UK, and the limits per person are:

18L of still wine per person
9L of champagne per person

Does anyone know if those limits are cumulative? Can someone bring BOTH 18L of still wine AND 9L of champagne, or is it one or the other?
