Hello all; I recently came across a 1969 Romanee-Conti from for sale at a very good price for its pedigree (a bit over 10000 Euros) with a guarantee of proper storage, but I am wondering if the wine is still holding up.
I am interested in old Burgundy for drinking rather than reselling or investing, so if anyone has information regarding this particular vintage or more general information about how long the DRC wines will be good (enough to warrant the price), please let me know!
I am quite accustomed to the flavors of aged pinots (but not that old), so my main questions are about remaining intensity, presence, etc.
