This woman comes in maybe once every few months. Nice lady maybe late 50s (I always assumed) Today she walks in and I genuinely did not recognize her. Thought she was someone’s daughter. I’m talking jawline/skin/whole thing. I finally clock it’s her and I say “oh my god, what did you do, surgery?”
She looked at me like I was stupid. “Merlot.”Turned back to the shelf. I said what do you mean Merlot. She said she’d been drinking it and the excess fat in her face and all her wrinkles just left. And sad that “Cabernet didn’t do it”. Had to be Merlot at exactly 13.5%. She then bought two bottles and walked out.
I have been thinking about this for six hours and I have a 10 year reunion in April.
