Keeping track of stock

My wife and I are buying and stocking wine enthusiastically. We store the more exclusive bottles in a wine fridge, but most of them are kept in a small cellar wine rack. We're at about 60 bottles now, most of them unique ones. We currently have no system, so we don't know what we have lying around.

How do people here keep track of stock? And what information do you keep track of?
