**Am I overthinking wine pairing recommendations?**
Built an offline wine recommendation system because existing apps suck (my unpopular opinion apparently).
Thing is, I went hard on writing proper explanations for each pairing instead of just listing wines. Like, actually explaining the tannin/acidity/body stuff.
But now I'm wondering if I just made it more complicated than it needs to be? 🤷
I have like 356 dishes with 71 different wine profiles. Bilingual. Works on your phone with no internet.
**The actual question:** Do wine people want explanations or just answers?
- Give me the wine
- Give me the wine + why
- Give me the whole sommelier talk
What am I definitely missing besides the obvious?
If people wanna try it I can drop a link but mainly just trying to figure out if I'm on the right track.
