Wine to take back from Toulouse

Hi, I have been in toulouse for a week and wanted to take a souvenir wine to a friend who loves red wine back home, but wasn’t sure what to get because i mostly drink white and my favourite I had here was an Italian one, but since it’s a souvenir from France I wanted it to be a little special. Any recommendations in the area? My home country is Japan. It would be great if it’s not too expensive due to the cheap yen right now 🙏🏼
