Hi! I'm not someone who drinks a whole lot of wine. I know I vaguely like dessert reds and rose. But this is less about drinking and more about cooking.
I'm looking at making a lamb pie and some recipe I see suggest using a red wine in the gravy base. I decided to look for a Chianti (though I'm open to other suggestions), the only ones I could find were Frescobaldi Castiglioni and Ruffino 1877 DOCG. I know everyone's taste is different, but I wanted some weigh in if one is better than the other?
