Hey everyone,
I’m a design engineering student designing a compact/countertop dishwasher specifically engineered for delicate glassware (tall stems, thin crystal, barware) where space and height clearance are the main constraints.
To size the internal chamber and rack layout, I need real-world usage numbers:
- Daily routine: How many people drink wine/cocktails regularly in your household, and how many glasses do you use on an average night?
- Hosting peaks: When hosting, how many guests do you serve, and how many glasses are in circulation at peak (including wine/cocktail swaps)?
- Delicate items: Do you regularly use extra-tall stems, spirit glasses (Glencairn, cordial), or decanters that need cleaning?
- Barware: Would you put metal tools (shakers, strainers, spoons, tongs) in a compact unit, or do you always hand-wash them?
- Current blocker: What stops you from using your standard dishwasher today—vertical clearance, breakage risk, water spots, or detergent damage?
Drop your numbers below. Thanks for the feedback!
