We are living in Sonoma for a few months and I'm looking for a great cab tasting. I'm happy to pay for it but would prefer to keep it to <$100/person - though if there's something spectacular I might stretch that a tiny bit.
We like wine, but are not collectors. We are far more likely to walk away with a single bottle of something we like than a case or a wine club membership.
I've done some searches here and have seen Corison mentioned, though I've noticed a number of less positive comments as well stating that the tasting experience isn't great. We're in it for the wine mostly, but a special experience would be lovely.
Any suggestions? We're willing to drive.
