Shipping wine. US Expat in France. Access to shipping container for moving.

So I've been in France for 3 year, I've started a small collection of wine... (actually small compared to some of you lol. maybe 40 bottles)

I'd hate to give it up. I'll take 3 in each suitcase (gets me a whopping 6)

Ill have access to a shipping container? My colleagues went home recently and shipping alcohol was not permitted. (Waiting on them for clarity of exactly what)

Idk if it was a company thing or customs thing. I think one of them said they could do it if all the paperwork and fees were done.

I have about 20 boxes of stuff to ship... I was thinking about putting 1 or 2 in each box.

Any comments or solutions?
